John Kupice
John Kupice is Scalar’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for capital strategy, FP&A, treasury, and enterprise risk across our ultra dense, zero-water AI/HPC data centers. He aligns engineering, operations, and investors around clear unit economics, structuring debt and equity, building durable cash-flow models, and instituting rigorous audit, tax, and reporting standards.
Before joining Scalar, John served as CEO of H-Source Holdings (healthcare IT), where he took the company public, led its IPO, raised follow-on growth capital in U.S. and Canadian markets, and built a regulated SaaS marketplace that incorporated blockchain for supply-chain integrity. He previously founded and led venture networks that structured and closed financings across tech, biotech, and healthcare, participating in $200M+ of direct investment and negotiating $400M+ in deals.
Earlier in his career, John was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, where he built and led the national Lawson/Infor ERP practice, managing programs of up to 100 people and delivering 200+ enterprise implementations experience that informs Scalar’s program governance and vendor management at scale. He has also overseen healthcare analytics initiatives, turned multi-unit operations profitable as a practice administrator, and delivered audits and analytics that unlocked multimillion dollar savings.
John holds a B.A. in Accounting (University of West Florida) and an A.A. from the University of South Florida.
