Gianni Ballack

Gianni Ballack is a geopolitical strategist and cross-border dealmaker who helps Scalar navigate complex markets and government partnerships across Europe, Ukraine, and the MENA region. Since April 2023, he has served as Founding Chairman & President of MENA Trade House, convening senior leaders from business, government, and defense to shape commercial and policy alliances. Previously VP of ICC Ukraine for the MENA region and a serial entrepreneur, Gianni brings a pragmatic, outcomes first approach to sovereign relationships, market entry, and compliance.

At Scalar, he leads government affairs, strategic partnerships, and capital alignment for large-scale, sustainable data-center projects, translating policy into execution, and aligning investor, community, and regulatory interests. A PhD in International Relations, he is a sought-after commentator on international economics and public policy and is fluent in eleven languages.
